Waiting in line for iPhone: a week ahead?

by bhatnaturally on July 6, 2008

Reports say that people have begun to queue up for the iPhone 3G launch (on July 11 in the US) in New York – a good one week ahead! Nut cases. Or as Fake Steve Jobs would have said – frigtards.

These seem to be publicity seekers – they even want to create a ‘world record’ for waiting, some even with kids on tow. As it is Apple fans are seen as overly obsessed with anything Apple – they hang on to every word Steve Jobs utters, they eagerly anticipate and follow every move of Apple etc. While these may not be gadget freaks or Apple fans, they certainly further the notion that the hype around Apple is unwarranted.
